STAR & Proficiency Event Sponsorships

  • Each year, FCCLA members participate in STAR (Students Taking Action with Recognition) Events to win scholarships, awards, and the chance to compete at the National Leadership Conference. These events highlight members' skills and achievements in projects, leadership, and career preparation, while promoting personal development through teamwork and goal setting. 

    Sponsoring a STAR Event connects your organization with high-achieving youth poised to become future leaders, enhancing your visibility among a national audience. 

    The top five teams and individuals in each event receive recognition during the State STAR Event session, and your sponsorship will help provide special awards to celebrate their achievements.

  • Proficiency Events are Texas-only events that compete at the region and state level. These events do not advance to National competition.
