Apply for a Scholarship

Texas FCCLA offers several scholarship opportunities to help members pursue a college education. Each scholarship has general eligibility requirements, as well as additional requirements specific to the scholarship.


Application Deadline

All scholarship applications must be submitted online by 11:59 p.m. CST on December 31, 2026.

No exceptions will be made.

Application information will be kept confidential and shared only with members of the scholarship committee who need the information for selection purposes.


How to Apply

Texas FCCLA uses one Universal Scholarship Application for all scholarships. You only need to complete one application, even if you are applying for multiple scholarships.

Step 1: Complete the Universal Application

Click the Universal Scholarship Application button below. On the application, select each scholarship for which you would like to be considered.

Complete the fillable PDF and save it using the required file name format below.

Step 2: Review Scholarship Requirements

Review the application procedures for each scholarship you selected. Some scholarships require additional materials, such as:

  • Personal essays or narratives

  • Letters of recommendation

  • Autobiography

  • Resume

  • SAT or ACT scores

  • High school or college transcripts

  • Verification letters

If letters of recommendation are required, give your recommenders plenty of time to complete and submit their letters before the deadline.

Step 3: Name Your Documents

Please use the following file names when submitting your application and supporting documents:

  • Application - Last Name, First Name - School - Chapter ID

  • Autobiography - Last Name, First Name (if applicable)

  • Letter of Rec 1 - Last Name, First Name

  • Letter of Rec 2 - Last Name, First Name

  • Letter of Rec 3 - Last Name, First Name (if applicable)

  • Personal Narrative 1 - Last Name, First Name

  • Personal Narrative 2 - Last Name, First Name (if applicable)

  • Resume - Last Name, First Name

  • Scores - SAT or ACT - Last Name, First Name

  • Transcripts - College - Last Name, First Name (if applicable)

  • Transcripts - High School - Last Name, First Name

  • Verification Letter - Last Name, First Name (if applicable)

CJ Davidson Scholarship

10 scholarships available

The CJ Davidson Scholarship is available to outstanding Texas FCCLA members who plan to attend an accredited Texas college or university and major in Family and Consumer Sciences.

Award: $18,000
Payment: Eight payments of $2,250 over eight semesters
Renewable: Yes, provided the recipient continues to meet all eligibility requirements.

Recipients must submit required documentation before each semester's disbursement.


CJ Davidson College Scholarship

1 scholarship available

This scholarship is for a currently enrolled student majoring in Family and Consumer Sciences Education at an accredited Texas college or university.

Award: $13,500
Payment: Six payments of $2,250 over six semesters
Renewable: Yes, provided the recipient continues to meet all eligibility requirements.

Recipients must submit required documentation before each semester's disbursement.


Career & Technical Association of Texas - Myra Hasty Award

1 scholarship available

This scholarship is awarded to an outstanding Texas FCCLA member who plans to attend an accredited Texas college or university. All majors are eligible.

Award: $1,000
Payment: One payment
Renewable: No


Texas FCCLA Regional Scholarship

5 scholarships available

This scholarship is available to outstanding Texas FCCLA members who plan to attend an accredited Texas college or university and major in Family and Consumer Sciences.

Award: $1,000
Payment: Two payments over two semesters
Renewable: No


H-E-B Scholarship

10 scholarships available

The H-E-B Scholarship is available to outstanding Texas FCCLA members who plan to attend an accredited Texas college or university. All majors are eligible.

Award: $1,000
Payment: One payment
Renewable: No


Texas Farm Bureau Scholarship

1 scholarship available

This scholarship is available to an outstanding state or region officer of Texas FCCLA who plans to attend an accredited Texas college or university and major in Family and Consumer Sciences.

Award: $5,000
Payment: One payment
Renewable: No


WeHelpTwo Scholarship

7 scholarships available

The WeHelpTwo Scholarship is available to outstanding Texas FCCLA members who plan to attend an accredited Texas college or university. All majors are eligible.

Award: $500
Payment: One payment
Renewable: No
