  4. Get started and affiliate your students

  5. Attend an FCCLA event to continue learning. Fall Leadership Workshops are a great way to get started.

Important Dates and Deadlines:

September - October: Fall Leadership Workshops
September 11- 15: Membership Recruitment Week
November 1: Affiliation Submission Deadline
November 15: Affiliation Payment Deadline
December 1: Competitive event entry and officer candidate application submission deadline at 11:59 p.m. CST.
December 31: Payment for competitive event entries must be received at the Texas FCCLA office (via check or credit card) by 11:59 p.m. CST.

Handbooks

Reading through the handbooks entirely will answer a lot of frequently asked questions and help with chapter organization and membership recruitment.
