Art Showcase at the State Leadership Conference

The State Leadership Conference Art Showcase provides members with an opportunity to display their creativity and artistic talents while contributing to the overall conference experience. This is not a competition, just an opportunity to showcase members' talents. Members must submit their artwork by March 1 in one of the three categories below. The selection committee will review applications and notify selected participants before state.

FCS: This category highlights essential life and career skills that support strong families, healthy lifestyles, and responsible decision‑making. Including nutrition, financial literacy, child development, consumer awareness, and personal well‑being — all aimed at preparing individuals for success in both personal and professional life.

Saddle Up for Success: This category celebrates the spirit of the west and all things country. Entries may include western-inspired elements such as wildflowers, cacti, lassos, cowboys, cowgirls, cattle, horses, boots, hats, ranches, barns, windmills, and wide-open landscapes, etc. Designs should capture the charm, traditions, and lifestyle of the western way of life, whether through rustic ranch scenes, rodeo culture, country aesthetics, or natural southwestern beauty.

What does FCCLA mean to you?: This category highlights the personal impact FCCLA has had on its members and the unique journeys they have experienced through the organization. Entries may showcase leadership growth, friendships, memorable experiences, community service, competitive events, personal achievements, and lessons learned along the way. This category celebrates the stories, memories, and connections that make FCCLA more than just an organization—it’s a family.
