Stamford FCCLA- Giving Life
In October, Stamford FCCLA members sponsored a blood drive for the school community. Stamford High School students, (16 years and older) as well as faculty and community members, came together to donate blood to help save lives. The Mobile Hendrick Blood Center parked on campus to add convenience to the event. Senior students who donate twice during the school year (or have 2 people donate in their name each time) will receive red cords to wear during graduation. An additional donation session will take place during the spring. Donors received a t-shirt and snacks during the blood drive and will receive a text message when their donated blood is used to save a life!
