Jim Ned FCCLA- Fall Festival
Focusing on Families First, the Jim Ned chapter held the first ever Fall Festival in Tuscola on October 27. Other organizations in the school were invited to participate. Student Council and Spanish Club were the only ones who chose to join. However, when the word got out, several groups in the community wanted to help as well. The local funeral home, a couple of local churches, a local realtor and a local insurance agency participated. Both indoor and outdoor activities for all ages including fishing, karaoke, ring toss, Jenga, Connect 4, Tic-tac-toe, sack races, and a picture booth. Also featured, was a "trunk or treat". Invitations were sent home with the elementary students (about 700). There was a great turnout from the community and everyone was glad the event was held. About 200 people were in attendance.
