Friona FCCLA- National Night Out

Members of Friona FCCLA had a booth at the local National Night Out.  The message of their booth was "Tobacco Prevention".  Members created a game for children to play.  They would throw balls into a trashcan, mimicking throwing tobacco away.  The display consisted of statistics and pictures showing the effects of what tobacco can do to ones teeth, lungs and mouth.  Members passed out flyers giving six tips to quit tobacco.  The game attracted people to the booth which allowed the members to spread their message.  It was a huge turn out for the community and an event that Friona FCCLA looks forward to participating in every year.
