Champion FCCLA Partners with Sole Hope

Champion High School had its first chapter service project for the month of September. The project was a continuation of last school year’s, thanks to the large amounts of materials donated. They partnered with Sole Hope, an organization that uses old canvas, jeans, etc. to make shoes for people living in Uganda that face foot-related disease caused by jigger bugs. Members spent three days after school cutting jeans to make various shapes, to be sent off and sewed together to make a whole shoe. Champion FCCLA was thankful to everyone who donated jeans and helped cut them for the September service project.
