ALVARADO FCCLA
Due to the recent fires in Bastrop County, Alvarado FCCLA decided to hold a water donation drive to help the community in need. The Bastrop fire disaster is the largest fire Texas has ever experienced. Over fifteen hundred homes were lost in the Bastrop community, and keep in mind that is not all they lost...photographes and other items that cannot be replaced as well.
In just one week, Alvarado FCCLA collected one hundred and sixty five cases of water. This donation was delivered to the Red Cross in Fort Worth, destined for Bastrop, Texas. The employees at the Red Cross could not stress how low they were on water and how grateful they were the water drive was held.
